Ali’s Little Lending Children’s Library & Blessings Box is a unique resource center dedicated to Apple Tree Early Care and Education alumni, Ali Shae Coleman.
Ali was just 6 years old when she lost her battle with cancer in 2015. Wendee Webb, director of the center, created this special space at Apple Tree Early Care and Education Center to honor Ali and her love of books and reading.
Ali’s Little Lending Children’s Library & Blessings Box sits within a small community garden at the school. In addition to the community children’s library the Blessings Box will contain a non-perishable food pantry where families can leave or take items.
Ali’s Little Library is a place for families to share their favorite books with each other. Leave a book for others or take a book that another family has left to share.
The dedication ceremony for this beautiful space was held on July 19th, 2018 and Ali’s Little Lending Children’s Library & Blessings Box is now available for sharing.
